Princes Mead

Princes Mead Shopping Centre opened in November 1990 and is situated in Farnborough, which is located on the borders of Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire just 35 miles from London and is part of the capital's commuter belt.

Farnborough Main train station, a 6 minute walk away, is on the main line to Waterloo with fast trains taking just 35 minutes.  A secondary railway line links Reading, Guildford and Gatwick Airport with Farnborough North station.

Our town is the home of the International Farnborough Air Show - a world famous event that takes place every two years in July.

There is a weekly market in Queensmead, adjacent to our Centre, held on Tuesdays and Fridays with a craft fair on the third Saturday of every month all run by Rushmoor Borough Council.

Princes Mead has 35 stores all on one level under its glass roof, with nine other stores just outside in The Mead.  A further 2 large units have recently been built on the Princes Mead car park area - Smyths Toy Store (open from 4th Feb 2017) and Decathlon (open from 23rd Mar 2017)

We also have a sunken Food Court in the middle of the Centre housing Costa Coffee, Subway and Burger King.

There are several car parks in the town centre, mostly on one level so access is easy for all our customers.

Our neighbours include an Asda Superstore, Sainsburys and B & Q.

Adjacent to Princes Mead is the open air precinct Queensmead and The Meads shopping centre, which houses Debenhams and a Vue multiplex cinema, with Prezzo and more restaurants coming soon.
