Parity for Disability is an award-winning local charity providing essential services for adults with multiple disabilities, ensuring they can thrive after leaving school. Their Farnborough, Camberley, and Mytchett services offer highly trained staff, flexible transport, specially adapted spaces, modern equipment, and up-to-date technologies to support every individual’s needs and aspirations.
Currently, 54 people rely on Parity’s services to manage their day and participate in meaningful activities. With tools like giant interactive screens, adapted cooking equipment, and resources for art, gardening, and exercise, individuals can build skills and enjoy fulfilling experiences. They also benefit from a fleet of adapted vehicles and opportunities to engage in community life.
Without Parity’s support, these individuals would face isolation, loss of skills, physical discomfort, and deteriorating health, leaving families to cope alone. It costs £150,000 annually to keep these life-changing services running, and we’re proud to support Parity in creating opportunities and fostering independence for those who need it most.
