HOME-START HAMPSHIRE (Rushmoor & Hart)
Home-Start Hampshire in Rushmoor & Hart supports parents with children up to 11yrs, who are struggling to cope by offering non-judgmental and emotional support to help build the family’s confidence and ability to cope. Families we work with may never have taken their children to a play group. Children may be about to start school without the experience of socialising with their peer groups. Families may have no local extended family, be unaware of their children’s developmental milestones and the importance of playing with young children to help develop skills. By meeting the demands and needs of families in crisis and helping them to move forward, we aim to contribute to a healthier lifestyle and sow the seeds for good citizenship.
