January Charity of the Month: Step Beyond Alderwood
This month, we’re proud to support Step Beyond Alderwood.
Step Beyond Alderwood is an aspirational fund designed to broaden the horizons of children and young people aged 4 to 16 at Alderwood School, developed by this year’s Mayor of Rushmoor, Cllr Calum Stewart. Rooted in the belief that every child deserves access to experiences that inspire, challenge, and extend their learning, this new programme has been designed to help remove the social, financial, and cultural barriers to opportunity. From university visits and STEM workshops to outdoor expeditions and creative masterclasses, each experience is chosen to ignite curiosity, build confidence, and promote lifelong learning.
Together, we are helping every young person at Alderwood to take that next step — and step beyond into a world of new possibilities
